When Stella and I were looking into a new home, we were not sure whether we should build or simply purchase an existing home. We decided to form our own opinion and look at both options. When we met with Mr. Jones, a personable yet professional meeting shadowed our basic opinion. Mr. Jones spoke to us as if he was looking out for our best interests. We were not overwhelmed with recommendations of high cost items that would create a bigger profit for the builder, as we had been warned. It was almost as if he was building the home for himself. The same attitude carried throughout the process. The workmanship of our home exemplifies the high standards that are maintained by the Southwest Signature Homes. Our home was built in the new Mesa Grande Estates and there has not been a day that we regret making this investment. We admired your professionalism and service before, during and after our house was finished. Mr. Jones, you are always welcome to show our home to prospective buyers.

When we were looking for a builder we asked our real estate agent for a list of three names of good builders. Paula and I met and interviewed all three. The first one we met with was a prima dona and thought no one could build a better home than he and told us our suggestions were not welcome, the third was laid back and never got back to us. When we met with Robert and his associate, Heber, their response was prompt and met with us at our convenience . Robert was open to our suggestions and we basically designed the house we wanted. Paula and I have literally built two previous homes so we knew what we wanted and I knew what went into a good home.

We checked on our new home every day. Did we make some minor changes while in construction?, Certainly, but Robert was receptive and did not nickel and dime us to death as a friend’s builder did. I would certainly recommend Southwest Signature Homes and would use them again if the need arises. The materials used were of quality, the construction itself was excellent and finished on time for a reasonable price. I have also found that they do not forget your name when the keys are turned over.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff at Southwest Signature Homes for the wonderful job you did in building our home in Mesa Grande Estates. The house really looks fantastic. When we decided to build a home in Las Cruces, we spoke with a number of builders. Southwest Signature Homes went “above and beyond” everyone else in making our home everything we wanted it to be. We can’t tell you how many people have stopped by our home to ask who built it and how “beautiful” it is. Again, thank you for taking our vision and making it a reality.

This letter has been a long time coming. I want to thank you and Heber for the beautiful home you built for me and my children on Vista de Sobre Dr. The experience during the entire process was wonderful and exciting. I always receive the best compliments and am happy to praise your work, patience and professionalism. Your work is of exceptional quality and workmanship. At one point during the building process, my life hit a bumpy road but you both stuck with me and were positive that it would smooth out. Thank you for your patience, hugs, understanding and the friendship that I gained through it all.

It has been a year since we moved in and I must say that we have enjoyed it more than words can say. It fits our need perfectly and I can’t wait to make great memories here.

My name is Diana, and my husband Sean and I, as of November 2008, are proud homeowners. The use of the word “PROUD”, largely in part, because of our choice to use Southwest Signature Homes to build our home. My husband and I saw a Southwest Signature Home and absolutely loved their attention to detail and how so many things came “standard”. We thought they would never be able to meet our low budget, but figured there was no harm in asking. Not only did they work with our budget, we customized our home and it looks and works better than we could have even imagined. Heber is very on top of things and a pleasure to work with, and Robert is beyond nice and forthcoming. The little extras they added are just amazing and we absolutely love our home (now 9 months into it). We barely ever run the AC or heater, the insulation is just awesome!

I cannot begin to tell you how satisfied I am with Southwest Signature Homes. Robert Jones (Owner) is an extremely honest and hard working contractor. He is a retired DASO Captain and provided many years of service to our community which I laud him for. From preliminary meetings when we discussed budgets and floor plans, to the very end, Robert was amazing. Through it all he was there to answer my questions and was highly involved the entire build. He managed his crew very well and made sure I was completely satisfied each step of the way. He basically took care of everything and made building my dream home a reality. Robert even went out of his way to help me find the best interest rates at the bank. The quality of Southwest Signature Homes is exceptional and their attention to fine details is what I believe puts them above the rest.
